Carpet Cleaning Technician – Sioux Falls, SD

INTEK is seeking a skilled and versatile Carpet Cleaning Technician to join our Sioux Falls team. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, and ready to utilize specialized equipment to clean carpet and tile floors, furniture, and area rugs, in both commercial and residential properties. Essential Functions:

• Meet with customers to discuss their cleaning needs
• Assess the condition of the floors and carpets getting cleaned
• Applying stain and pre-cleaning treatments to the carpets and floors
• Cleaning carpets and floors using appropriate equipment to clean carpet and tile floors
• Set up drying equipment after cleaning to ensure proper and efficient carpet drying
• Up-selling cleaning services and company products based on customer needs
• Handling payment software

● Complete after-hours or weekend carpet cleanings as needed

● Perform other duties as assigned

Experience and Education:

● High School Graduate or GED Required

● Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record Required

● Ability to pass a background check Required

Physical Demands

● Ability to occasionally bend, climb or balance, kneel, stoop, walk, or push and pull objects

● Ability to lift up to 25lbs, and occasionally 100lbs, to perform job functions

● Ability to work in a variety of environments, conditions, and temperatures including both in the office and in the field
