Job Description

Job Purpose
To define the qualifications and duties for a Maintenance Electrician.
Duties and Responsibilities
â¢Responsible for fabricating, installing, inspecting, testing, operating, repairing and maintaining alltypes of electrical, mechanical and electronic equipment in a safe and orderly manner
â¢Assist other maintenance shift workers throughout the plant in repair efforts tominimize call-ins of day shift personnel
â¢Assist assigned crew with execution of planned activities such as PM's, lubes, orstanding work orders assigned by the maintenance supervisor
â¢Prioritize work requests as requested in the event of multiple orders
â¢Assess non-routine breakdown situations and recommend necessary resourceswhen help is required
â¢Provide accurate feedback to the appropriate maintenance personnel regardingturnover information on breakdowns and trouble calls
â¢Practice established maintenance process techniques
oAccurate and detailed information on work orders
oApplying parts removal tags on rebuild items
oReturn to stock warehouse issues that are not needed,
oProper coding of emergency work orders
oStock issues are charged to work orders
Qualifications
â¢Five (5) yearsâ industrial electrical maintenance experience.
â¢Formal Apprenticeship or equivalent trades training is desirable.
â¢Vocational or high school graduate or equivalent.
Physical Demands
â¢No restrictions to standing, walking, bending, pushing or pulling
â¢Able to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds
â¢Must successfully pass a rigorous medical examination.
â¢Ability to climb to extensive heights and enter confined spaces
â¢Able to withstand extreme weather conditions â heat, cold, rain.
â¢Must be able to speak clearly and utilize a computer keyboard.
Additional Responsibilities
â¢Abide by all company policies, practices and rules
â¢Participating in continuous safety improvements
â¢Follow guidance from ISO coordinators regarding compliance with ISO registrations.
