We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to help expand customer relationships, develop new business opportunities, and support continued growth.
Position Overview We are seeking an Outside Sales Representative to promote and sell flooring products and related materials throughout assigned territories. This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in flooring, building materials, construction, or outside sales who enjoys building relationships and developing new business. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently, meeting with customers in person, and representing a growing company that values customer service and long-term partnerships.

Salary Range: $65,000–$75,000 Base Salary + Commission

Key Responsibilities - Actively prospect and develop new business opportunities with flooring contractors, installers, retailers, and other potential customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Conduct in-person sales visits, product presentations, and demonstrations to promote flooring products and related materials.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
- Collaborate with the internal sales team to ensure customer needs are met and orders are handled efficiently.
- Stay informed on flooring industry trends, product offerings, pricing, and competitor activity.
- Meet and exceed sales goals while regularly reporting on sales activities, pipeline development, and customer relationships.
- Manage an assigned sales territory, including planning customer visits and identifying opportunities for continued growth.
Qualifications - Previous outside sales experience, preferably in flooring, building materials, construction supplies, or a related industry.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and manage an assigned territory.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel regularly throughout assigned territories.
- Ability to quickly learn product specifications, applications, and industry trends.
- Experience working with contractors, installers, flooring retailers, or distributors is highly preferred.
Compensation The published salary range is used as a guide to provide prospective candidates with a level of compensation that is competitive with today's market. The salary range for this position is a good faith estimate that allows for flexibility to align with various levels of experience, education, and performance.
