Job Description
We are currently hiring for A Picker Packer. A Picker Packer is responsible for locating, selecting, and packaging products in a warehouse or fulfillment center to prepare them for shipment to customers or retail stores. Responsibilities
Picking Duties: - Locate items within the warehouse using pick lists, RF (Radio Frequency) scanners, or automated picking systems.
- Retrieve exact quantities of products from shelves, bins, or pallets accurately and quickly.
- Inspect items for damage, defects, or expiration dates prior to packing.
- Transport collected items safely to packing stations using hand trucks, carts, or forklifts (if certified).
Packing Duties: - Select appropriate packaging materials (boxes, poly mailers, bubble wrap, packing peanuts).
- Pack items securely to prevent damage during transit while optimizing package weight and size.
- Print and apply shipping labels, packing slips, and hazard/fragile stickers.
- Seal packages securely using tape machines or manual dispensers.
