Millay Arts, one of America's longest-running multidisciplinary artist residencies, is seeking an experienced, mission-driven Residency Director to help lead and shape our renowned program at the historic estate of Edna St. Vincent Millay, Steepletop.Diversity is core to Millay Arts' mission. This full-time leadership role offers the opportunity to:• Lead and continually evolve Millay Arts’ residency program;• Create a welcoming, mission-driven experience for artists across disciplines;• Provide operational and program leadership;• Work closely with the Executive Director on organizational strategy; and• Help shape a residency program entering its second half-century!The Residency Director provides operational leadership for the residency program, champions a welcoming and mission-aligned artist experience, and works in close partnership with the Executive Director to connect program excellence to organizational strategy.This opportunity is designed for a candidate who understands that hospitality is inseparable from artistic support — who understands that a private studio, chef-prepared communal suppers, and a small, tight-knit cohort of gifted peers are not amenities, but part of the work itself.
