AEB Biochemical USA, Inc., the U.S. subsidiary of AEB S.p.A. (Brescia, Italy), is a leading global supplier of enological, brewing, and spirits products serving wineries, breweries, and distilleries across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. We're looking for a Technical Sales Representative based in the Lodi area (must live in the Lodi area) to grow and support our customer base in the Lodi wine region.
About the Role You'll be the face of AEB in one of California's most important wine-producing appellations, working directly with winemakers and production teams to sell and support our full portfolio of fermentation aids, enzymes, fining agents, tannins, stabilization products, and filtration solutions. This is a technical sales role, you'll need to speak the language of winemaking and understand how our products perform in the cellar. The Lodi area is also where AEB Biochemical USA's warehouse and main office are based, making this a particularly interesting territory: when you're not out on the road visiting accounts, you'll be based at our office, helping support walk-in customers and assisting with day-to-day warehouse and operational activities. What You'll Do • Manage and grow relationships with wineries throughout the Lodi region and surrounding appellations • Provide technical recommendations and troubleshooting support for fermentation, fining, stabilization, and filtration challenges • Conduct product trials and present technical results to winemaking teams • Identify new business opportunities and convert prospects into long-term customers • Coordinate with AEB's technical and operations teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and product delivery • Represent AEB at harvest events, industry tastings, and trade shows as needed • Provide technical support, including site visits • When not traveling, work from AEB's Lodi office and warehouse, assisting walk-in customers and supporting day-to-day operations What We're Looking For • Hands-on winemaking experience, you've worked a harvest, used enological products in production, and understand cellar operations from the inside • Prior sales or account management experience, ideally in the wine, beverage, or agricultural products industry • Strong technical grounding in fermentation science, fining, stabilization, and related winemaking processes • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with winemakers and production staff • Self-motivated and comfortable managing a territory independently • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly throughout the Lodi/Central Valley region • Ability to lift and move wine cases and product totes (up to approximately 50 lbs)• Willingness to work occasional weekends, particularly during crush season What We Offer • Competitive base salary plus performance-based incentives • Company vehicle or travel allowance • Health benefits and paid time off • The backing of a global technical team and 60+ years of enological R&D from AEB • The opportunity to work with some of California's top wine producersReceive an email alert when similar new jobs are posted.
